If you are looking for an authentic Provençal experience then The Grange is just the ticket for families wishing to impress at ‘show and tell’ post summer holidays. Quietly secluded within the twisted trunks of the olive groves and vineyards, this lovingly restored, ancient farmstead is perfect for soaking up the Mediterranean sun and feasting on fresh local produce.

A short walk or cycle (3 mins by car) takes you to the cobbled streets of Lourmarin where you can converse with locals on the Friday morning market, negotiate over antiques and guzzle cold beverages in a typical bistro.

Interior

The rustic vaulted living spaces at The Grange give the impression of living in a cave dwelling. The stone walls keep the house cool when you need to take refuge from the beating sun and the soft furnishings with splashes of antique give a slight regal finish –a stark difference to the fully equipped modern kitchen.

With a full size fridge, semi-professional oven and a pantry, you are all set to become a dab hand at a pot of Ratatouille or Soupe au Pistou. Wake up in a light-filled bedroom and prepare for the day in a stylish bathroom and you are all geared up to get exploring the local area.

Exterior

While away your mornings dipping in and out of the pool and admiring the majestic panoramic views of the Luberon. The stone walls, terracotta tiles and cane covered patio of The Grange sing Provence. Pop up to the outdoor dining table to join loved-ones for a bite of cheese, charcuterie and baguette before packing the car with bottles of water and heading into the hills for cultural and natural exploration.

Wander the streets of the perched villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste, hike or bike past vibrant poppy and lavender fields and visit medieval castles and quirky art galleries then return to The Grange with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

-Arrival from 3pm. Contact us for a late arrival or baggage drop-off options. Depart by 10am

-3 double ensuite bedrooms (160cm, 160cm, 180cm beds), 3 extras toilets

-Weekly linen change. You may request an extra cleaning (€50/4hrs)
