But Château Puyricard is not just a wedding venue…Large groups can live the good life too within the 300 hectares of land that is nestled in the crater of the only volcano there ever was in Provence!

Interior

Take a trip back to antiquity in this luxuriously romantic castle. The 10 ensuite bedrooms are each named after a personality linked to the history of the castle and are furnished with elegant antiques. The dining room of Château Puyricard exudes vintage sophistication with chandeliers, fine art and a dining table fit for a king. Musicians can find themselves serenading in the salon dedicated to music, book worms curl up in the reading room while the others prepare for the big day in the Hamman located in the tower or indulge in a massage in the serenity of their room.

Exterior

The enclosed gardens at Château Puyricard are simply majestic; complete with renaissance fountains and a vine covered arched walkway-ideal for those oh-so important photos. The 21m x 7m heated pool does not taint the character of the château nor the immaculate lawns and far-reaching views. Wander through the private vineyards on to the tennis courts or bike around the 300 hectares of the estate. A short drive takes you to the chic town of Aix-en-Provence to get your fix of art, architecture and summertime festivals. Trips to the coves and beaches of Marseille or The Verdon Gorges can also be arranged –but only if you can wrench yourself away from the magnetic seduction of Château Puyricard.

-10 double ensuite bedrooms (6 x 160cm beds, 4 x 180cm beds), 1 twin ensuite bedroom

-Security deposit: €10,000

-Arrival from 3pm. Contact us for a late arrival or baggage drop-off options. Depart by 11am

–Weekend rates include accommodation from Friday 15:00 to Monday 11:00.
–Weddings in July and August require a one week rental, from Thurs 3 pm to Thurs at 11 am.
–Weddings from September to June can be held on a three day week-end, from Friday at 2 pm till Mon at 11 am.

-21 m x7m heated pool with retracting rigid cover –complies with safety regulations

–Tastings of the property’s wine with the oenologist can be arranged. Please enquire

-A massage in your room or in the vines can be arranged. Please enquire

–The wedding reception room can seat 84 of your guests, 100 for cocktails and a tent can be erected in case of poor weather.

–Dinner with the owners can be arranged upon request in the dining room, lower courtyard or ‘Orangeria’ and they will tell stories of the Château

–Follow “In the footsteps of Cézanne” that leads you to the Carrières de Bibémus quarries, the Jas de Bouffan, St-Victoire Mountain, Château du Tholonet, the Zola dam and the town of Gardanne where he lived for a year

–The Caumont Art Centre is devoted to fine art and found in the former 19^th century Hôtel de Caumot Mansion
