Le Palmier, Aix-en-Provence – Sleeps 12
Description
Overview
Spend a week or two living in pure luxury and serenity at Le Palmier. This is one of the finest examples of contemporary design in Provence with wood, stone and metal in almost equal parts and a cooling water theme running throughout the house -topped with a Balinese twist.
Guests can relax in 1000m² of tailored gardens in an extremely quiet, private residential area with not a soul overlooking the villa and grounds. A 10 minute trip takes you to the cultural capital of Provence, Aix-en-Provence, where afternoons can be spent wandering art galleries and attending cultural festivals.
Interior
Your guests will find themselves mouths agape as they discover each of the originally designed corners of the Le Palmier. Make use of the gym located in the home cinema (Keeping fit has never been so entertaining!) before heading through the sleek surfaces of the kitchen- to top up your water bottle- and into the indoor heated pool with Balinese day bed. Not done with pampering? An underground spa is located under the outdoor pool. Take your pick from a session in the Hammam or sauna with surround sound or head up to the Jacuzzi!
Exterior
Glass sliding doors stretch the length of the villa bringing continuity between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Le Palmier is well insulated bringing coolness to the living room or head onto the sunny terrace with high-end furniture for a glass of wine or on to the heated infinity-edge pool with wood decking and an overflow into the pond with Balinese day bed as use dose off to the trickle of calming water.
Make the most of this stunning area of France by tasting local wines in the estates, cycling around perched villages, or excursions to the coves of Marseille and the Verdon Gorges.
