Description
Overview
Experience the true Provence at Domaine de Sénanque. Once belonging to the famous, 12 century Sénanque Abbey, rebuilt in the mid 1900’s and tastefully brought into the contemporary in 2010, it still holds its original grand turret.
This magnificent private mas blends its original charm and character into the stunning 30 hectares of land nestled in the hills of the Luberon with views over to the Alpilles. The villa is peaceful in its secluded location yet just 5 minutes from the renowned, perched village of Gordes.
Interior
At Domaine de Sénanque, start the day with a session in the gym with a view then head to the well-equipped, yet typically Provençal kitchen, to prepare you French breakfast; the Lacanche oven and American fridge can easily cater for your large group! On a rare rainy day the children snuggle up in the spacious TV room while dinner is served in the dining room, seating upto 14, close to the grand fireplace.
Exterior
With 300 days of sunshine a year, most of your time at Domaine de Sénanque will be spent outdoors under the sun and shade. The rocky, pond-like, infinity pool merges seamlessly into the landscape of olive, pine and cypress trees and out to uninterrupted views.
Catch the last of the sun’s rays in the garden at the back with sundowners then gather under the sheltered terrace for a celebratory meal to remember.
