Full of rustic Provençal character and appeal, this restored farmhouse from 1850 welcomes you into a haven of southern scenes, smells and sight-seeing. Totally surrounded by greenery, potted plants and vines creeping up to the authentic shutters, you are instantly plunged into the Provençal way of life. So kick off your shoes, dip your feet in the pool and pour yourself a large glass of crisp rosé at Mas des Boras.

Just a quick cycle into the renowned village of Eygalières and you can enjoy local life at the market, take some regional produce off to a pick-nick spot in the Alpilles National Park and admire the stunning views of rocky hilltop villages, mountains and lavender fields.

Interior

Inspired by the arty area, the conversational, original works of art at Mas des Boras bring a Bohemian feel to the home. Whether it be admiring the objets d’art in the sitting room around the ancient open fireplace or exploiting the many dangling regional implements in the kitchen, you too will be inspired to follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh -who lived just a few minutes away in the town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Exterior

What could be more Provençal than sitting around a stone table under the shade of a centuries old plane tree? A game of pétanque? Picking juicy tomatoes from the vegetable patch? Sitting under the olive trees? Or you could pad along the manicured lawns that sweep directly into the pool to cool yourself down after a day in the blazing sun.

In August you can join the 5 day long fête in St Rémy to see bulls racing through the roads and street parties with music, games and communal meals.
