The views from this hilltop village house, Chez Corinne, are breath-taking and tempt you to pack up cheese and a French stick to go picnicking in the enchanting hills of the Alpilles.

Interior

Cream and grey tones with splashes of pink and violet give a tastefully modern feel to the interior of Chez Corinne. The stylish kitchen and dining are perfect for trying out Provençal dishes and with summer cooling and winter heating, the living room is always a cosy spot for catching up with your favourite series on Netflix.  Head upstairs to the elegant bedrooms where one room boasts views of the manicured lawn and hills from its balcony and the other spies the Alpilles from the bedroom and Mont Ventoux through the bathroom window. From the pool and through French windows, access the downstairs double bedroom and walk directly into the shower to wash away a day of soaking up the sun.

Exterior

Pure relaxation washes over you as you settle down into the pool side chaise-longue. Hours can be whiled away dipping in and out of the pool till all your loved-ones gather together on the sheltered terrace, just steps away, for pre-dinner drinks and a bowls of local olives. Enclosed within a wall and mature native vegetation, al-fresco living at Chez Corinne is done in total privacy.

If you can tear yourself away from this hidden haven, wander the cobbled streets and market stalls of Eygalières, go horseback riding along the river or cycle past vineyards- not forgetting to sample the wine at one of the estates on your way back!
