Lovingly restored, this 250 year old farmhouse has been brought into the present day with a sprinkling of mod-cons, a flourish of style and a hearty dose of Provençal hospitality. Nestled between vineyards and orchards and in sight of the quintessential perched villages, Villa Jasmin is in the ideal spot for visiting everything that is Provence. With a welcome basket and a guide to local markets and the region, all that is left to do is jump on a bike and get exploring.

Interior

Homely, comfortable and spacious on the inside, Villa Jasmin enjoys accents of cream and beige to reflect the sunlight. Push open the French doors from the kitchen or living room and you have greenery with bursts of colours on the outside. With a kitchen displaying extensive work spaces and appliances, self-catering has never been so appealing; and the bedrooms?…all ensuite and welcoming after your day’s adventures.

Exterior

Sitting in total privacy under the covered pergola or parasols by the pool, the views of the garden and beyond are just breathtaking. A late afternoon game of pétanque or table tennis is enjoyed before heading to the wisteria covered terrace for dinner -located right next to the kitchen so everyone can easily help out!

Thursday, you will head out for some essentials and treats off the local market or perhaps hike or cycle past lavender fields and pine forests to reach Roussillion’s ochre trail.

-Cycle La Route des Ocres. Accessible to all. 50 km/10 hrs 30 through beautiful landscapes. Starts from Apt (13 km away) to Gargas (exceptional biodiversity) past the ancient ruins of Oppidum Gaulois to the Saint Radegonde chapel then to Cap de Villars ending up in Rustral.
