Overview

In verdant surroundings of old olive groves, scented trees and plants you find yourself in a holiday dream house in the heart of the Alpilles National Park.

Those who explore beyond the gate are rewarded with ancient sights, hiking and biking trails through pine forests and shrub dotted hills and the jovial bustle of traditional market stalls and terraced cafés.

Interior

Simplicity and light run through the modern sleekness of Mas Karenne. Comfortable beds lull guests to sleep while the refreshing bathroom revitalise for another day under the southern sun.

The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a covered terrace, just right for pre-dinner cocktails whilst the kids enjoy a game of table tennis. The other side of the terrace has an adjoining summer kitchen, also filled with all the amenities you need for rumbling up a Provençal dish or two.

Exterior

The inviting pool is totally secluded by mature shrubs and bushes, float the day away in your leafy oasis or relax with a book or game on the outdoor sofas. Venture further and you will be wowed by the stunning village of Les Baux-de-Provence and the history of the Roman ruins of Glanum. If you are the arty type, head to St-Rémy-de-Provence for art galleries, museums and art dealers. On return, kick off your shoes and enjoy a night under the stars with a glass of the distinctive local red wine.
