Overview

On approach to Mas du Paradis you travel along a charming, winding path lined with colourful flowers and trees and through the 12 acre landscaped gardens and perfectly aligned lavender field and olive grove. As you descend your vehicle…it hits you… this place smells like Provence!

The vast lawns welcome your children and dogs as they let off steam and you lose yourself in the dreamy landscape. You appear lost in the Provençal countryside here but the well sought-after village of Eygalières is just 5 minutes away –perfect for picking up some local produce off the market.

Interior

Mas du Paradis is a wonderful fusion of ancient and contemporary offering elegant bedrooms, and a vaulted dining room that dates from the 16th century; with the open fire place and the table set for 10, you feel as if you are attending a feast in a period castle. The 18th century arched living areas continue this fantasy through the house to the kitchen where rustic meets all the mod-cons. But it is the Lacanthe stove and oven that sits begging to fill this homely room with the delicious smells of Provençal recipes.

Exterior

In front of the beautifully renovated Mas du Paradis is a shaded patio dining area where you can taste your Provençal cuisine and the cosy armchairs await a full belly where you can doze off to the gentle trickle of the fountain.

At the pool side, you get the feeling of being in middle of the rural countryside, totally enclosed by verdant views -you may just wander off for a ramble in the hills!
