Tucked away in the valley with stunning views over the Luberon hills and up to the typically Provençal perched village, lies the magnificent Mas des Roses.

Here is a villa that releases a blend of the ancient, the recent and the utterly fabulous with total privacy yet just a stone’s throw away from the renowned village of Lacoste – partially owned by Pierre Cardin. And a  little further on… the villages of Ménerbes- once home to Peter Mayle, the author of ‘A Year in Provence’ and the quaint village of Bonnieux.

Interior

Mas des Roses captures the creative nature of the local region. It has been beautifully restored in authentic style with wooden beams, an arched wooden door and a fine-looking fireplace for a cosy winter evening yet with all with the modern amenities you need.

Mas des Roses villa offers you 4 en-suite bedrooms, 1 twin en-suite room and 1 extra shower and toilet while the classic bathtubs (with a glass of bubbly in hand) is just the ticket for washing away the daytime activities. A feast braises on the barbeque below and dinner is now served at the accommodating table on the terrace with the hum of cicadas in the trees.

Exterior

Nature lover? The impressive gardens at Mas des Roses, ideal for a game of pétanque, have been professionally designed (featuring in Dream Homes Country) and lead on to the magnificent rural landscapes of Provence. Grab your bike and head off into the Cedre Forest or hike over to the surrounding villages. Walking shoes won’t be needed for the quick skip over to Lacoste to pick up fresh local produce off the market or to eat out in a fancy gastronomic restaurant.
