Description
Overview
Revel in serenity in acres and acres of lavender, manicured gardens, olive, cypress and plane trees at Mas des Poètes. The inviting pool provides relief from the blazing sun and chilled beverages can be guzzled in the shade of the comfortable summer house.
If you can pull yourself away from your tranquil bubble, a 3 minute drive away are the quiet and friendly villages of St Andiol and Mollèges where you will find convenient shops and 13 minutes away is the artsy haven of Saint Rémy de Provence –where you can follow in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh and get your fill of art, culture and architecture.
Interior
This Provençal farmhouse has been handsomely converted into a luxurious villa. Its decor is a beautiful fusion of antique and contemporary with walnut, antique furniture and modern beds and sofas.
As you wash the day away under the rainfall shower, the smell of dinner sautéing in the kitchen drifts up the stairs. You join your friends for a sumptuous meal and end the day curled up on the sofa with a good book.
Exterior
You sip wine seated in a bistro chair on the sun-dappled patio while the others engage in a game of pétanque (French bowls) before plunging into the salt water pool. You dry off under the Mediterranean sun then follow the cypress tree lined path to the flood-lit tennis court (that doubles up a football pitch and basketball court) for a sporty end to a perfect day.
