It can be daunting enough arranging the smallest of holidays but organizing a wedding or family/friend reunion of this magnitude can be overwhelming. No need to spend half your holiday cooking, cleaning, washing and minding the kids, let the busy team at Mas des Alpilles take care of it all.

Follow the blue skies to the lavender filled fields, olive groves and lush green vineyards of Provence. The winding path to the villa is lined with cypress trees and wild shrubs, the sun draws out the heady scent of aromatic plants and your ears are filled with the rhythmic beat of cicadas. Welcome to Mas des Alpilles!

Tucked away in the pine woods, yet in walking distance to the picturesque village of Eygalières, is this hand-picked, luxurious villa with everything you need to make your memorable event and holiday of the year!

Interior

The architect-owner has turned the interior into something out of a fairytale. Its château-rustic design contains a galleried corridor and an overlooking balcony from which a princess would wave from. The living area is filled with light showing off original pieces of art, most of which come from the antique markets in St Rémy and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and is bursting with English and French books.

Mas des Alpilles has 3 en-suite bedrooms in the main house, 1 double and 1 twin in the nearby cottage –with a rather Beatrix Potter feel about it. Each of the bedrooms host handcrafted Provençal furniture and fabric, two with private terraces for some one-on-one time. The kitchen exudes country-chic and is jam-packed full of pans, baskets and crockery to cater for 50 guests! But wait! There’s more…Head down to the basement to the glitzy cinema with a bar (just like in the good old days)…and what if we had a party in here!?

Exterior

From the main sitting area, French doors push out onto the sun-dappled patio – large enough for two tables. Here you will settle down for your evening feast. In another nook of the terrace there are another two large tables. You can shake it up a bit and gather here for lunch or breakfast!

For more al fresco living there is an outdoor kitchen and plancha so you can get those steaks grilling in between refreshing dips in the pool -and sprinkle some of that lavender on top! After a snooze in the hammock (to the trickle of the fountain) you the head down for a game of tennis for a perfect day’s end.

With stunning views of the Alpilles countryside and all the art, culture and history the region offers. You have just found your ideal Provençal experience!
