Interior

Traditional rustic elements melded with sleek modern finishes make Maison Julien immediately inviting. Your guests will be inspired by the characterful interior design as they choose from one of 3 double ensuite rooms. Refined, elegant, and light-filled with private terrace; the bedrooms contrast beautifully with the stylish fresh-feel bathrooms.

Sheltered from most of the day’s sun, the stylish veranda is the cherry on the cake. The entire west-facing wall is entirely made of glass allowing glorious views over the garden, pool and beyond. Each meal can be enjoyed in a different room but in summer months, take advantage of the quaint courtyard for nibbling on croissants and the pool-side dining shelter for charcuterie and cheese. Here, you only need to jump out of the pool, wash off in the attached shower room and pour yourself a glass of crisp white wine.

Exterior

Outside you will be hit with a sensory cacophony; a flash of pink flowers, a bunch of lavender, sausages grilling on the barbeque, a refreshing plunge into the pool and the gentle hum of cicadas. This heart-stirring garden will entice you to stay the whole day long but adventure and culture are a-plenty in this neck of the woods!

Don your walking shoes for hikes in the pine forest, visit higgledy-piggledy lanes that surround the ruined castle and round the day off with the best bottle of red you tried earlier at one of the local wine estate.
