This is a one-off, chic family retreat made for relaxing country breaks where seasonal holiday makers can live out their Provençal dream. Set in the ancient Alpilles valley where vineyards have provided a livelihood for wine-makers for centuries, Le Pinède offers your family a home from home with state of the art conveniences and spacious, tailored gardens.

The recently constructed villa is found in a quiet residential area, a quick walk from the quaint village of Eygalières where trips in can bring you fresh produce from the butcher’s, cheese shop and boulangerie. Ten minutes away by car and you find yourself in the artsy town of Saint Rémy-de-Provence where Van Gogh derived much of his inspiration.

Interior

Fit for style-savvy travellers, this tastefully designed 270 m² living space is well-stocked and clean. Dinner is prepared on sleek surfaces while conversation flows throughout the light-filled open plan downstairs.

Push open the French windows of the ground floor bedrooms to enjoy a fragrant morning coffee on the terrace or in the courtyard while the Italien showers revitalise sleepyheads for the day ahead.

Exterior

Al fresco dining is the way we roll at Le Pinède. Straight off the house you can dine with over-flame feasts and Mediterranean vegetable dishes as you admire views over the infinity pool and up to the dramatic hills. Tiny tots can play in a separate plastic pool with beach toys as you relax in verdant surroundings. Or simply don your trainers to venture into the wild for cycling past olive groves, horse riding by the river and hiking in the Alpilles National Park.
