Overview

Built as an escape from city life, Le Lavendin is tucked away in the verdant valley of the Alpilles amongst olive oil producing groves and Côte du Rhône vineyards. With the floral explosion in the garden coupled with the fragrant scent of lavender it will be hard to pull yourself away from this Provençal haven. But if you do… a 10-15 minute stroll will take you to the picturesque village of Eygalières -where the famous live and the royals visit. Eygalières has retained its old style ambiance and offers you fabulous cafés, restaurants and individually run shops.

Interior

Tastefully designed and decorated, chocolate tones and bursts of red and pink run throughout the house. Pass freely from the living room to dining room to kitchen and through the French doors to the terrace –also accessible by the downstairs bedrooms. Le Lavendin offers you 2 double ensuite and 2 multiple ensuite bedrooms. Under the winding stone staircase you can send post your holiday snaps at the desk but try to make the most of the good weather…

Exterior

Sun or shade, there is space for all to socialise and take ‘time-out’ at Le Lavendin. Top up on your tan or chill in the shade on loungers, of course, chilled rosé in hand! Couples play cards at the shaded table, a moody teenager listens to music in the shade of a pine tree and friends laugh, stretched out on the outdoor sofas. No need to set the table indoors; designed with wild cooking in mind, you have all you need in the outdoor kitchen/dining area.

-2 double ensuite rooms (160cm, 160cm beds), 2 multiple ensuite rooms (can be reconfigured to your liking)

-A/C. Please choose between heating the pool and A/C (we suggest A/C in the summer and heated pool out of season)

-11.5m x 5m heated pool with soft cover (this will help keep the heat in and the bugs out over night) -complies with safety regulations. There is a €150/week fee for heating the pool.
