For country calm and comfort visit L’Amarine for a family reunion under the Provençal sun. This area brings everything you could wish for from a break in the south of France; from lavender fields and wine tasting in the estates to ancient discoveries at the Roman site of Glanum and hiking trails through the stunning Alpilles National Park.
In traditional Provençal style, L’Amarine was designed in 2003 with holiday makers in mind, the rooms are well-thought-out and there are plenty of outdoor spaces for al fresco living and dining.
The elected chef can create culinary masterpieces in the well-equipped kitchen at L’Amarine whilst joining the conversation. A small wall/bar separates the dining room where doors open out to the terrace and garden. During winter months, hot chocolate can be sipped snuggled around the wood burning fire or in the summer, enjoy air-con running throughout L’Amarine.
In Provence, most of our time is spent outside. You won’t need to use the indoor kitchen much as the garden kitchen is stocked with plenty of utensils, a sink, gas plaque and charcoal barbeque. Creeping wisteria and split-cane shelters are a beautiful natural addition to the outdoor spaces at L’Amarine. Layback on the reclining chairs, take a plunge in the pristine pool then gather together at the end of the day for a Mediterranean meal on the covered terrace with a bottle of Côte du Rhône.
