Overview

Sat on the edge of the Alpilles, L’Hirondelle is a 5 minute walk from the quintessential Provençal village of Eygalières -considered one of the most beautiful villages of the Alpilles. St-Rémy-de-Provence is also a short drive from the villa and is renowned for inspiring Vincent Van Gogh.

The Provençal countryside continues throughout the superb garden which boasts olive trees, aromatic shrubs and vibrant flowers. You will feel instantly at home in this charming, fully functioning villa with all the trimmings.

Interior

L’Hirondelle is immediately appealing with its chocolate tones and characterful fixtures and fittings. The modern kitchen is perfect for rumbling up a Mediterranean dish with local produce fresh off the market and the tastefully tiled bathrooms, with stand-alone tub, is perfect for a romantic soak. Stretch out on your private balcony with a good book and crisp white wine in hand before sinking into the cosy beds to sleep off the adventure filled days in the wild.

L’Hirondelle offers 3 double en-suite (1 downstairs) and 1 twin en-suite and all rooms on the ground floor open out to the garden with only one step to access the dining area -perfect for young children and those with mobility difficulties.

Exterior

Fresh croissants for breakfast on the covered patio, a selection of cheese and charcuterie in the garden under the pine trees for lunch then while away the afternoons sipping rosé by the glistening heated pool. Come evening, light up the fire pit for a cosy night under the stars.

But do take advantage of the local area! It is filled with art museums, Roman ruins, village fetes and natural entertainment to be enjoyed on foot or by bike. L’Hirondelle is just the ticket for family groups on the move!
